Raleigh, North Carolina, US – A man who identifies as a woman has been found guilty of repeatedly raping a girl who was between the ages of five and six at the time of the attacks.
In 2017, Quonshe Marquise Brimmer was serving a 42-month sentence for failing to register as a sex offender when a witness contacted the Onslow County Sheriff’s Office to report that Mr. Brimmer had repeatedly abused a minor from September to October 2010.
Mr. Brimmer claimed in his defense that he could not have committed the crime, because he is homosexual and in the process of transitioning from a male to a “female gender identity.”
