In relation to the homosexual marriage issue, I believe that the word ‘gay’ is the most overused and abused word in the English language today. There are no ‘gays’ or ‘straights’ only heterosexuals and homosexuals.
Following New Zealand’s decision to introduce homosexual marriage legislation, the push is now on to introduce similar legislation in Australia. The fairest and most democratic means of resolving this controversial issue is to hold a national referendum in conjunction with the Federal election later this year. Because voting is compulsory in Australia, the result will clearly reflect the will of the Australian people. I am not however, going to hold my breath, because I have not heard one supporter of homosexual marriages lobby for such a referendum. This is quite odd because supporters of homosexual marriages claim that that the majority of Australian people are in favor of, or do not, oppose these marriages but, as yet, have not provided statistics to support that claim. Instead, they are directly lobbying sitting politicians whose only interest seems to be in retaining their seat on the gravy train that the public purse has become in Australia.
If homosexual marriage legislation is introduced into Australia, has anyone thought about the children who will be brought into a homosexual environment? Wherever possible, children should be brought by their biological parents; that is with heterosexual mums and dads. In homosexual marriages, children will be, deliberately and with aforethought, deprived of one, or both, biological parents. In my opinion, this will be an abuse of children’s human rights because they will have no say in the matter.
There is now a group in the USA calling themselves The North American Man/Boy Love Association (NAMBLA) whose aim is to abolish the age of consent laws in order to decriminalize adult sexual involvement with minors. For those who have not read the post by Reflections by Alessandra I have re-blogged it here. If NAMBLA succeed, this will take western society back to the days of the Roman Empire where homosexuals preferred youths between 12 and 20 years of age as sexual partners. Many hapless youths within this age group were sold into sexual slavery, sometimes by their own parents. Given the number of young women sold into sexual slavery each year, I am left wondering if young men are also meeting the same fate today. After all, where this a demand, that demand will bee met.

There is nothing wrong with encouraging full acceptance of homosexuality and bisexuality in society. It certainly won’t hurt anyone. It should be seen as normal and equal to heterosexuality, because it is! A huge benefit to society is that same-sex couples can adopt babies to give them a loving home and family.
Pedophilia is gross and harms children, so it will always be punished.

I totally disagree with you. Children that are born via sperm donation rent a womb and adoption are deliberately being deprived of one or both of their biological parents to become accessories of the fantasy that homosexuality is normal for a species that is heterosexual by nature and design. In my view, these children are being denied their human rights because they have no say in the matter. Mother nature determined hundred of thousands of years ago that the best chance children have to grow up normal is to be with their biological mother and father not with two men or two women. A recent case of an Australian and Asian homosexual pair clearly showed that these two perverts adopted a child with the deliberate intent to sexually abuse the child. This danger to children should be nipped in the bud before many more children’s lives are destroyed.

Still, it’s rather disappointing to see you’re still repeating arguments (“mother nature”, etc ) that I have already shown to be false in earlier replies. This makes the validity of any conversation on this topic with you more than a little dubious.
As for your “recent case”, I could just as easily direct you to instances of obscene,pre-meditated child abuse by “straight” adoptive parents. It would be insane to draw any conclusions there about “straight” parents being therefore unsuitable. This works both ways. You know this, and yet you still bring up stuff like this. Strange.

First of all, in sexual terms, there are no ‘gays’ or ‘straights’ these are simply common slang words used to describe homosexuals and heterosexuals. As for being a bigot, I do not believe that I am so intolerant of others including homosexuals, that I can be described as a bigot. I have had friendships with several homosexual men during my adult life. These relationships worked because, unlike the young homosexuals of today, they did not shove their sexuality down my throat. When I introduce a homosexual friend to another person, I do not say Hi, this is my friend Peter, he is a homosexual, I simply introduce him as a friend, no more no less. After all, his sexuality is none of my business so it will be up to Peter to decide. However, Peter knew full well that if he ever made any sexual advances toward me that would be it. I would simply tell Peter to fuck off and never come near me again. If that makes me a bigot, then amen to that.
As for homophobia, this is a word invented by the homosexual propaganda machine to describe anyone who does not agree with their views on homosexuality as I clearly do not and as you have clearly demonstrated, this word is usually used in conjunction with the word ‘bigot.’ So, who is the bigot?
Simply because I am dead set against the preposterous concept of one man wedding, bedding and copulating with another man does not mean that I am against homosexuals per se, but rather I am against homosexuality being foisted upon us as being as ‘normal’ and as natural as heterosexuality, which clearly it is not. Nor do I believe that our school children should be subjected to homosexual propaganda.
